Here are some of the images that I took at the Pink Ribbon Gala on Wednesday night. The owners of The Perfect Wedding Guide asked me to take some portraits of the models in their gowns for their website, magazine, advertising, etc. I think we got some awesome ones and wanted to share. I really enjoyed the Louisiana State Museum and had no clue how cool it is in there… visit if you haven’t! Thanks to Erin Guedry for all of your help with the lighting and help at the booth… I have awesome friends! Not many people would help to promote their “competitors” business and that is why you rock Miss Guedry!!! Well one of the reasons anyway = )

Let’s Scare off Hunger

Melissa Cannon Photography and Jouette Photography are happy to host a food drive for the First United Methodist Food Pantry on Mattie St. here in Denham Springs. Their food pantry helps out families in emergency situations who are in need of food. They have recently seen an increase in families needing their services and we would like to do our part to give back to the community that has been so good to us.
It will take place on Halloween day at Melissa’s studio which is located at 188 Veterans Blvd. Suite B Denham Springs, LA 70726 from 12 -4pm.
So stop by with at least 5 can food items or non-perishable food items to have a free portrait taken in your Spooktacular Halloween costume and receive a free 4×6 print. Appointments will not be taken so make sure to get here early so you don’t miss out!
